Budget: Our wedding looked like it should have cost $25,000 but it was probably somewhere around $10,000!
Best Savings: There are too many to mention!! Let’s just say that we saved tons of money on the cake, wedding band, bridesmaid dresses (sewn by a grandma and aunt), pictures, catering, and decorations thanks to many wonderful friends, family, and some thrifty shopping!!
Best Splurge: The Honeymoon!
Tips: Don’t become so stressed with all the details that you no longer enjoy the planning stage!! Everything will fall in its place!! Remember, there is also a marriage to prepare for as well! On the wedding day, try to have as many pictures taken before the wedding. You will get to spend more time at the reception!! Spend time greeting your guests at the reception!! (Makes your day 10 times more special).
