Be as unique as you want – It’s your wedding day!

Although this wedding may not have been a budget wedding, you can always find inspiration from well-executed events. Here several reasons I love this unique wedding highlighted on Style Me Pretty:

Unique location:
Held in a botanical garden

Unique dress:
Gold block bottom half of dress screams drama and personality. Love the bold choice.

Natural elements:
Plants and natural elements were included in the decor, which, in the right settings, can be cheaper than buying decorations.

Vintage touches:
Antiques and vintage elements add character and depth to the look of the wedding.

Make an inspiration board of elements you love from other weddings and find ways to mimic them on the cheap!

  • Thanks for posting our wedding on your blog! Although we didn’t pinch the pennies in every aspect, here are some ways we did try to be budget-friendly:

    - We borrowed: the veil, furniture, anything…
    - We scavenged: many days at the thrift stores provided all of those little crystal accents, silver trays, bowls, and some furniture.
    - We reused: a lot of what we bought we’ve used to decorate our new home. We even had guests sign our dictionary for the guest book.
    - We made: the programs, the table numbers, and other decorations.
