City parks are affordable wedding venues and are located throughout the city. An historic 7-acre sunken garden located in Exposition Park in Los Angeles, the Exposition Rose Garden has been called “one of the city’s best-kept secrets” and can be rented for a minimum of 2 hours (earliest start time is 9am and latest start time is 5pm). Fees for 1-50 people are $250, 51-200 people is $350. Additional hours are $50/hr. Additional fees include the application fee ($35), folding chairs ($1/chair), Refundable clean-up fee ($200), staff fee ($22/staff per hour), picture permit ($70). No alcohol is permitted but amplified sound and small generator are. Reception area ideas include The Natural History Museum offers Gallerias and Halls for special events and the California Science Center offers Reception areas for special events. exhibitions and special events. The total base cost, including a refundable deposit, is $3500, and includes an 8 hour block of time (including set up & clean up) on Saturdays from 10am-1am or Sundays 10am-11pm.

Rent a castle for your big day! Located conveniently off the 101 in Agoura Hills, less than 30 minutes from Los Angeles and has been featured on MTV and the Food Network. Rent the entire castle for $7,000/day. This fee includes meetings at the castle before your rental. All normal set-up and clean-up interior restrooms and special room usage.

Wayfarers Chapel has been welcoming couples to get married for more than 60 years. Designed by Lloyd Wright, the all glass sanctuary is nestled in a grove of towering redwood trees surrounded by 3.5 acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens with a panoramic ocean view of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The contribution amount for the wedding fee depends on the day of the week and time of your wedding (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – $2,600, Tuesday – $1,800, Friday, Saturday, Sundays and most Holidays – $3,300, Saturday (4 and 6pm) – $3,900). Weddings can last two hours and are subject to addition fees (Reservation Fee – $200, Aisle Candles – $200 (may be added to your wedding contribution) or Aisle Candles with added musician – $500). Pros: the chapel comes already decorated with seasonal white flowers, unless it’s December when red poinsettias grace the front of the Chapel. You may hire your own photographer/videographer (but no drones). The chapel can accommodate up to 100 guests, plus your wedding attendants.
