Single Moms Choosing Their Status

This blog post on EverydayWoman.tv says that more single women are choosing to become single mothers. For various reasons, these women long to be mothers but aren’t waiting for Mr. Right or even settling for Mr. Okay. Most are educated; some even affluent, but they have never married and don’t plan to anytime soon, if at all. Although some mention apprehension and guilt about raising fatherless children, most embrace their status and find support in other ways.
