Easy, Cheap Crockpot Cooking

B00008KIWH.16._SCLZZZZZZZ_SS260_.jpg My wonderful mother-in-law, Ginger, bought Jeff and I a slow cooker/crock pot as a house-warming gift. The first weekend we cooked a ham with a can of pineapple over it. It was great, but I was looking for more easy recipes, with limited ingredients! I found this site today and it had several recipes I was looking for, plus a lot more. CheapCooking.com. Enjoy!

  • Glad you enjoyed the site! Hope the slow cooker works out great for you.

  • One of my favorite crockpot recipes.
    1. whole chicken
    2. your choice of seasoning
    3. cooking spray
    4. foil balls
    Spray crockpot with spray
ball up foil to make 5 or 6 foil balls and place in crockpot
Wash chicken and season place breast side down on foil balls. Cook on low 5 or 6 hours.
    Enjoy!
P.S. Do not add any liquid to crock. This chicken makes a great chicken salad for sandwhiches the next day.

  • Thanks for the link to the crock pot recipes site.
Some good crock pot info there.
